Layer represents locations of Park and Ride lots in California
California’s Managed Lanes comprise of HOV Lanes, Express Lanes and Park and Ride facilities. Park and ride lots provide a location for individuals to park their vehicles to join carpools and to access bus and rail services, thereby taking vehicles off local streets and roads and the State Highway System (SHS). This feature class is a point feature class representing park and ride lots 'administered' by California Department of Transportation, derived from “Park & Ride Inventory” (update dated July 2019) maintained by Caltrans, Division of Traffic Operations, Office of System Management Operations. Verification Source: CT Public Facilities Inventory List.
